Still banned, no new news..

I finally got a letter back from support asking me for a DNA sample to prove my accounts were really mine (not really, but it sure felt like it). All I can say is - save EVERY serial number you have EVER used on your accounts. Save the last 4 of your first credit card you activated the account with OR the time card code.

I'm just hoping I was able to produce enough information to prove that my accounts were really mine. I hate waiting.

Makes me glad I don't play CoH....and afraid for my Guild Wars account. They are both NCSoft...

Wow... that is unbelievable. <_ _>;

Stuff like this always worries me in MMOs; I've played many, and been lucky enough not to have much trouble; but I've known enough people to see things like this happen and someone have to slog their way back through the hoops just to get back what's their's.

Hrmm... Question - could your account have been hijacked by goldspammers? They're known to do stuff like that if they get a chance, and would explain the rapid-fire insta-ban without explanation.

They have a fair few ways of doing that kinda thing too, so it's not just a matter of whether or not they know your account info.

Obviously that's merely a possibility; it's effed up no matter what.

I suppose it's possible that it could have been hacked, but the timing of it is just a little too odd for that. I logged in Wednesday night, and could not log in Thursday afternoon. There were no emails sent, and none of the other accounts that I logged in on Wednesday were affected.

I'm still waiting to hear back from support.

I got banned about a year ago from CoX because my father whose credit card it was on didn't remember about NcSoft and rejected the ~$100 year-sub charge.

Long story short, they would in no way ever give it back, I made a new account, and realized the game was boring. So it stopped me from paying $15 a month and gave me some extra cash for a new comp. Maybe you'll have a similar silver lining.

Hehe I don't know. I'll jump that fence when I come to it. I miss playing terribly (I've already been on a forced break for several months) and picking up again with some of my SG mates and friends is something I was looking greatly forward to for the free week.

I do have other accounts I can play, but these two were the ones with my best creations on them
