I officially started school yesterday. I'm going through my first class, which is basically an orientation around the online program and how to use the different services. It's set up SO much better than University of Phoenix. I will give a referral to ANYONE who wants one to go to this school. The plan is so much different than a regular school, it is fantastic. I'll be paying about $3,000 for every 6 months, and can take as many classes as I can force myself to get through in that amount of time. I could have my degree next year at this rate. You still have to pay for your own books but the cost of tuition more than makes up for it PLUS if you go into an IT degree, you will get about 10-12 of the certifications you'd need for a job (MSTS, A+, Network+, stuff like that) for free. These are certifications that sometimes cost a couple grand a piece.
So, if you've been wanting to go to school to get a degree, but have been put off by the STUPID EXPENSIVE PRICING of places like Kaplan University, University of Phoenix, etc, let me know and I will happily give you a referral link which will waive your application fee. They offer degrees in teaching, IT, business and nursing. Fantabulous!

Hmm...
It's funny actually. The federal government over here has instituted a plan to ensure that everyone under 25 is 'either working full-time or learning'. I almost died laughing at their stupidity.

True love isn't the prince marrying the princess. True love is the bald man with a limp, a lisp, and lumbago marrying the fat woman with frizzy hair, flatulence and flat feet.
