Hammer fall.*UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE*Thank you for verifying this information. The owner of the credit card, that was used to pay for the City of Heroes Character Slots on this game account, contacted the issuer of the card claiming that the use of the card with our service was not authorized by them. As a result of this dispute, the issuer of the card has reversed the funds paid to NCsoft back to the issuer of the card. Due to this claim of unauthorized credit card use, which resulted in a chargeback, this NCsoft Master account and all associated game accounts have been permanently closed and are not eligible to be reactivated.
Please be aware that NCsoft support has no record of any requests for assistance regarding billing issues from either the owner of the credit card or the person who created this game account prior to the credit card dispute.

The situation as it stands : I tried to purchase some character slots in February. NC did not receive proper authorization (though the card was charged). This made it appear to the credit card company system that there was fraudulent activity and initiated a charge-back on March 17th.
IT IS ENTIRELY NC'S FAULT!
Zach, on the phone with I and the rep from the credit card, told me that he would email this information to the proper team with support, and that I was to wait for a response.
I hate waiting, but this is the best news I've heard since this thing started.

Since they are claiming it was a charge-back, and the last charge on my account was November 7th, why did they wait until April 29th to ban my accounts? Especially when I logged in on the 28th?
I'm writing an email in reply but I want to make sure I cover all the bases before I send it off.

I hope they can straighten this out, that is definitely NOT cool.
I'm strongly suspecting someone tried to hijack you at this point; if you didn't call them, and your the one who pays for the account, and the card in question isn't one you use...
I dunno, call me paranoid but that sounds suspicious in the extreme.
